Platform link : https://research.abroadsimplified.com

  • Select a research topic (via AI Discovery / Gap Analyzer)
  • Select your preferred paper format
  • Platform auto-generates the initial paper
  • Edit and refine the paper as needed
  • Platform displays the AI-generated content percentage and paper quality scores (Novelty, Clarity, Methodology, Citations)
  • Humanize the paper to bring down the AI-content percentage
  • Export in IEEE format
  • Arrange reviewers in your preferred order
  • Select a target journal
  • Fill in submission details
  • Complete the export — this entire process is 100% free
  • (Optional — not required to participate or win) Publish to a journal — this is a paid step
  • Download the exported PDF and upload it to Unstop for your competition submission
  • Round 1 (Abstract): 300–500 word abstract, generated and refined through the platform (Steps 1–4 above)
  • Round 2 (Presentation): 8–10 minute live presentation + 5 minute Q&A

Duration of Rounds

  • Registration open: 1st week of August – 1st week of September 2026
  • Round 1 (Abstract Submission) deadline: 3rd week of September 2026
  • Round 1 Results: Last week of September 2026
  • Round 2 (Final Presentation): First week of October 2026

Rules

  • The paper must be original and unpublished prior to the competition, and not submitted to any other competition simultaneously.
  • All papers must be created and exported using the Abroad Simplified platform (Topic Selection → AI Generation → Editing → Humanization → IEEE Export); submissions not generated through the platform will not be accepted.
  • Each participant may submit only one entry.
  • The paper submitted in Round 2 must be a continuation/development of the same abstract submitted in Round 1 — switching to a different topic between rounds is not allowed.
  • Plagiarism above the permitted similarity threshold will result in disqualification.
  • All submissions must be made before the stated deadlines; late entries will not be considered.
  • The judging panel's decisions are final and binding.
  • Certificates will be provided to all participants; cash prizes awarded to winners as per the prize structure.
  • All communication will be through the registered email ID or the Unstop platform only.
  • Any misconduct, misrepresentation, or use of unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Using the platform's optional paid "Publish to journal" feature is not required to participate in or win the competition.
  • Copyright of the paper remains with the author; organizers may showcase submissions for promotional purposes with due credit.
  • Organizers reserve the right to modify rules, dates, or format with prior notice to registered participants.
