We are excited to announce the CMR HACKFEST 4.0 (36 Hours National Level Hackathon) after the overwhelming success of our previous national-level hackathons. Our previous editions attracted nearly 15,000+ registrations out of which 450+ teams were invited to participate in the offline hackathon, resulting in around 2500+ participants from 23 different states across India.
CMR College of Engineering & Technology (UGC Autonomous Institution), Hyderabad, Telangana is organizing the fourth edition—CMR HACKFEST 4.0 (36 Hours National Level Hackathon), which is set to take place on 08th and 09th January, 2027.
Education, Research and Innovation go hand-in-hand and with the intersection of disciplines, new ideas emerge and impulse innovation. CMRCET is known as the top-notch Institution for its internationally renowned quality in Multidisciplinary Innovation.
CMR HACKFEST 4.0 is an exhilarating and innovative Hackathon that aims to bring together bright minds and creative thinkers from various institutions to collaborate, ideate and innovate in the realm of technology and beyond. It is an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their skills, network with peers and gain valuable experience in problem-solving.

The best Hackathon Projects will receive a Prize pool money upto Rs.2,22,000 and also few Surprise Gifts. Apart from awards, innovative projects have the opportunity to get incubation support, mentorship, industry networking, resources and training. Details of the Cash Prize is as given below
- The Winner- Rs. 1,00,000/-
- I Runner-Up- Rs. 60,000/-
- II Runner-Up - Rs. 25,000/-
- Three Consolation Prizes- Each Rs. 5,000/-
(One Consolation Prize Exclusively for Girls Team)
- Theme Based Prizes - Each Rs. 2,000/-

Shortlisted teams need to pay registration fee: 575/- per person (Includes Accommodation with minimum facilities and food during the event).

Participation in this CMR HACKFEST 4.0 gives real time exposure to students to work with Industry experts on these specific problems for which these industries are looking for "out of box thinking" or innovative ideas from the students.
