Opportunity brief
We are looking for a motivated QA Tester Intern to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The intern will work closely with developers and other team members to identify issues, test new features, and improve the overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web applications and APIs.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and usability testing.
- Test applications across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
- Validate API responses, status codes, and functionality using tools such as Postman.
- Assist with automation testing using Selenium or similar tools.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- Maintain testing documentation and communicate test results clearly.
Who We're Looking For:
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with manual testing and writing test cases.
- Basic knowledge of API testing and tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with Selenium or automation testing is a plus.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, or Python is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn.
