Burbn is hiring for QA Testing Intern
About the Company
Burbn is a social commerce platform that brings together shopping, creator content, and communities. We help people discover products from brands and independent sellers through short videos, recommendations, and community discussions. With features such as Scrolls, Circles, and group buying, Burbn makes product discovery more engaging and enables people to shop together for better prices. We are building a connected shopping experience where shoppers find inspiration, creators share their favourite products, and sellers reach new audiences.
Responsibilities
- Support the QA team in reviewing product requirements and identifying expected user behavior.
- Prepare clear test scenarios and execute functional, usability, and regression checks under guidance.
- Document defects with concise reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, and relevant evidence.
- Retest fixes and maintain organized records of test coverage and observations.
- Communicate testing updates, risks, and unresolved issues clearly with engineering and product stakeholders.
Requirements
- Open to freshers with 0 years of professional experience.
- Interest in software testing, quality assurance, and learning structured testing practices.
- Strong attention to detail, logical thinking, and written communication.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage assigned tasks responsibly.
- Basic familiarity with web applications and common testing concepts is helpful but not mandatory.
This is a 2-month unpaid internship designed to provide practical exposure to QA workflows, defect reporting, test execution, and collaboration with a technology team. The intern should be curious, dependable, receptive to feedback, and committed to learning throughout the engagement.
