Bristol Myers Squibb is hiring for the role of BI Visualization & Reporting Analyst I!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, understand key metrics, and identify reporting and visualization needs. - Partner with senior analysts to design interactive and user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools. - Create visually appealing and informative visualizations that communicate complex datasets and insights to non-technical stakeholders. - Perform data analysis to uncover patterns and insights that support strategic decision-making and business performance optimization. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and integrate data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. - Partner with senior analysts to develop and maintain data visualization best practices, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and usability across reporting and dashboard projects. - Optimize data infrastructure and enhance data quality to support efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data visualization, BI tools, and reporting methodologies. - Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis and visualization to drive business growth, operational efficiency, and improve data-driven decision-making processes.

Requirements:

- Working knowledge of data visualization best practices, principles of effective design, and user experience (UX) considerations. - Experience with data analysis, interpretation, and visualization to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. - Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, data governance, and data quality management. - Solid communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into meaningful and actionable recommendations for stakeholders. - Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. - Familiarity with the biopharma industry is a plus, including knowledge of relevant data sources and KPIs. - Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline. - Proven experience, typically 1–2 years, in BI visualization through professional work or academic projects. - Strong commitment to building a career in technology with a passion for healthcare. - Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. - Experience with data analysis, visualization, and report development. - Knowledge of data modeling, SQL, and data manipulation techniques. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
