About the Company:
Boosttech.in is looking for a talented and dedicated Web Developer to join our multi-disciplinary team. We are committed to creating a strong digital presence and delivering impactful online experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to maximize the impact of our digital offerings.
- Develop templates for email marketing, newsletters and website updates.
- Work with Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably Joomla or WordPress.
- Liaise with internal departments and clients to ensure designs meet all requirements.
- Maintain and update existing websites as needed.
- Rigorously test websites and newsletters, identifying and resolving technical issues before launch.
- Develop and implement effective SEO strategies in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with PHP, HTML/XHTML, CSS/CSS3, and HTML5.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax.
- Strong web programming experience in PHP.
- Experience working with MySQL database systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement open-source software projects using CMS (Joomla or WordPress preferred).
- Knowledge of Linux shell scripting is a plus.
- Self-starter with excellent self-management skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined work methodology.
- Comfortable collaborating with remote team members across different locations and time zones.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for working within a small international team across three offices.
- High integrity, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude are as crucial as technical skills.
- Flexibility to occasionally work during evenings and weekends, sometimes with short notice.
