Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed rebar shop drawings and bending schedules using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Interpret structural and architectural drawings to ensure accurate rebar detailing.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve discrepancies and optimize rebar designs.
- Ensure all detailing complies with industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Manage and organize project files, drawings, and documentation effectively.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings before submission to maintain high accuracy.
- Assist in the estimation of rebar quantities and preparation of material lists.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in rebar detailing and construction.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a Rebar Detailer in the infrastructure or construction industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, or similar rebar detailing software.
- Strong understanding of structural drawings, rebar fabrication, and installation processes.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, IS).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
