BlackRock is hiring for the role of Software Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Strong programming fundamentals and hands-on experience with Python and SQL are required. - Knowledge of React/Java is a good to have. - Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC) - Knowledge of manual testing, defect tracking, and test case design - Familiarity with test automation concepts and tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks - Experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows - Awareness of API testing, integration testing concepts, and quality assurance best practices - Understanding of REST APIs, databases, data pipelines, and application integration. - Basic knowledge of React, JavaScript, TypeScript, or another front-end technology is beneficial. - Familiarity with data analysis, AI, machine learning, or generative AI concepts is beneficial.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis. - Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. - Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
