Opportunity brief

The Bharat Academix AI Innovation Hackathon 2026 is an online hackathon designed to challenge students, freshers, and aspiring developers to build innovative solutions for real-world problems using Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and modern software technologies.

Participants will receive a problem statement and will be required to design, develop, and demonstrate a functional solution within the given time period. Participants are encouraged to focus on innovation, practical usability, technical implementation, AI capabilities, scalability, and user experience.

Eligibility

  • Open to students, freshers, and professionals.
  • Individual or team participation as specified for the challenge.
  • Participants should have an interest in AI, ML, software development, or emerging technologies.
  • Prior professional experience is not mandatory.

Competition Process

Round 1 – Registration & Screening

Participants register through the platform and complete their profiles. Eligible participants will be shortlisted for the technical challenge.

Round 2 – Hackathon Challenge

Shortlisted participants receive the problem statement and build their solution within the specified timeline.

Round 3 – Final Presentation & Evaluation

Top participants present and demonstrate their solutions before the jury/industry experts, followed by a technical Q&A.

Submission Requirements

Participants may be required to submit:

  • Source Code / GitHub Repository
  • Project Documentation
  • README & Setup Instructions
  • Working Prototype/Demo
  • Presentation
  • Demo Video, if required

Rules

  • Submitted work must be original.
  • Participants must follow the assigned problem statement and submission guidelines.
  • Open-source libraries and publicly available resources may be used with appropriate attribution.
  • Plagiarism or copied solutions may result in disqualification.
  • Participants must submit their solution before the specified deadline.
  • The jury's decision will be final.
