Opportunity brief
About: Bhagwat Prasadam Charitable Trust is a nonprofit organization, based in Delhi, India. The Trust, guided by its core philosophy of "Healthy People, Healthy Planet," works with a 360-degree approach to addresses the root challenges facing today's youth, viz.
- Overcoming Digital & Dietary Addictions: We help children break free from screen dependency, social media fixation, and unhealthy dietary habits.
- Building Physical & Mental Well-being: We instill the lifelong importance of physical activity and emotional resilience.
- Fostering Environmental & Civic Responsibility: We engage the youth in tangible climate action—from conserving water, food, and energy to eliminating litter and inspiring their peers.
- Strengthening Support Systems: We collaborate directly with parents and teachers to ensure a supportive environment for long-term transformation.
Our goal is to nurture confident, forward-thinking individuals equipped to withstand peer pressure, resist anti-social influences, and contribute meaningfully to society.
The organization often collaborates with local partners and volunteers to deliver programs and services that promote well-being and community development. Student volunteers have the opportunity to contribute directly to impactful projects while gaining exposure to the operations of a grassroots charitable organization.
