About the Opportunity
Beyond Mentor is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Career Counsellor for a 1-month school career counselling project in Ellenabad, Haryana. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to career guidance, student counselling, and education, and who enjoy working directly with school students.
Responsibilities
- Conduct career counselling and guidance sessions for school students.
- Understand students' interests, strengths, abilities, and career aspirations.
- Guide students in exploring suitable academic streams and career pathways.
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions.
- Assist with career assessments and explain assessment outcomes.
- Conduct career awareness sessions and workshops.
- Coordinate with teachers and school authorities.
- Maintain counselling records and submit daily/weekly reports.
- Ensure professional, empathetic, and student-friendly interaction with students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong listening and counselling abilities.
- Empathetic and comfortable interacting with school students.
- Ability to work independently and manage counselling sessions effectively.
- Candidates who can commit to the complete 1-month project will be preferred.
