Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
Requirements:
Essential Skills:
- Should be highly proficient in the use of AB initio development and standard techniques (On UNIX and Hadoop, Linux). - Strong understanding of Data Structure and Algorithms. Experience in implementing Medium to Big scale data solutions Strong SQL skills in Hive impala and AWS DB technologies such as Athena. - Experience on AWS and cloud platforms - Overall job scheduling knowledge on TWS - Experience in scripting languages like DBT, Python, Databricks and Shell scripting etc - Should be able to work in an agile environment with evolving demands and increasing expectations.
Desired Skills:
- Credit Risk banking experience - Regulatory experience (IFRS9/ BCBS) with control and compliance implementations - Managing development teams under Cloud and Hadoop technologies - Previous experience within Finance, Treasury and Risk functions
