Axinq Technologies private limited is hiring for a Quality Assurance (QA) / Web Application Testing Intern!
Responsibilities
- Perform manual exploratory, functional, cross-browser, and regression testing across important user journeys.
- Create structured test cases, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria from product requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps, console logs, screenshots, and screen recordings.
- Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman or cURL, including endpoint behavior and payload validation.
- Review UI and UX behavior across different screen sizes, browsers, and devices, highlighting responsiveness issues and inconsistencies.
- Assist with basic end-to-end automated testing when required.
Requirements
- Suitable for an entry-level candidate or intern with an interest in software quality assurance and web application testing.
- Foundational understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Testing Life Cycle.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, HTTP methods, status codes, and browser Developer Tools.
- Understanding of API testing basics using Postman or cURL.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting edge cases and detailed bug reports.
- Analytical thinking and close attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Git and project tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or GitHub Issues is an advantage.
- Basic SQL or database-querying knowledge for validating persisted data is a bonus.
