The Asian Paints Conundrum 2026 challenges students to harness team dynamics and present their holistic solution to address this year's puzzle. Seize the opportunity to lead and navigate through the well-established network of Asian Paints' Decorative Business segment, contributing to the advancement of its Home Décor ambitions on the optimal trajectory!

Eligibility Criteria:

The case competition is only open to 2nd-year students from the following management institutes and courses:

  • Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon - PGM HRM
  • Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai - MA (HRM & LR)
  • Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur - PGDM HRM

Team Formation Guidelines:

  • Students must register in a team of 3.
  • They should be full-time students from the campus.
  • Cross-specialization teams are not allowed.
  • Cross-college and cross-course teams are not allowed.
  • To ensure a level playing field for all participants, students who have interned with Asian Paints are not eligible to participate.
  • One person cannot be a member of more than one team.
  • Any deviation from the above-mentioned guidelines will result in the immediate disqualification of the entire team.

Competition Structure:

Case Submissions:

  • Only registered teams will get access to the case.
  • Each team will need to submit a PPT of not more than 10 slides in .pdf format.
  • The first slide should contain team details, other slides (up to 9) are for analysis or deliverables to the problems. Any supporting Excel sheets etc. should be embedded in the PPT itself. The appendix can be put beyond these 10 slides as the 11th and/or 12th slides. Any references should be given due credits.
  • Naming Convention: TeamName_CampusName_CND26

Mentorship Phase:

The shortlisted teams will have the opportunity to engage in a mentorship session with the Case Sponsors.

Grand Finale:

  • Based on the case submissions, the top 8 teams from the campuses will be selected for the National Grand Finale Round.
  • These teams will make a detailed presentation on the case in front of the esteemed jury.
  • Each team will get 15 minutes to present and 5 mins for Q&A (A total of 20 minutes).
  • Winners and Runners-up will be announced on the same day.
