IDEATE is a multi-round innovation challenge organised by Amrita Cyber Nation, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham – Chennai Campus, designed to turn creative ideas into practical solutions for real-world problems.

How IDEATE Works:

IDEATE follows a multi-round innovation challenge format.

Participants will progress through different stages where they will be expected to:

Identify → Ideate → Develop → Present → Defend

The challenge will evaluate not only the uniqueness of your idea but also how effectively you understand the problem, develop your solution, and communicate its real-world impact.

Rules & Regulations:

• Participants can register individually or as a team of 1–2 members.
• The maximum team size is 2 members.
• Each participant/team must complete the registration process before the registration deadline.
• Participants must report to the venue before the event begins and complete the required registration/check-in process.
• The event will be conducted offline at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus.
• Participants must carry their valid college/student ID card or other required identification.
• Participants must develop and present their own original ideas.
• Plagiarism, copied concepts, or misrepresentation of another person's work may lead to immediate disqualification.
• Participants must follow the instructions provided by the organisers and coordinators throughout all rounds.
• The judging criteria may include innovation, problem understanding, feasibility, impact, creativity, presentation, and overall solution quality.
• The decision of the judges and organising committee will be final and binding.
• Participants must maintain proper discipline and professional conduct throughout the event.
• Any form of cheating, unfair practice, impersonation, or misconduct may result in immediate disqualification.
• Participants are responsible for bringing any personal materials or equipment required for their participation unless otherwise specified by the organisers.
• The registration fee is ₹100 per participant.
• Registration fees are strictly non-refundable after successful registration. No refund will be provided for cancellation, non-participation, disqualification, or failure to attend the event.
• The organisers reserve the right to modify the event schedule, rules, or format if required. Any major changes will be communicated to registered participants.
• By registering for IDEATE, participants agree to abide by all event rules and decisions of the organising committee.
