CNC Machine Park Internship, Manufacturing | Hardware Location: Hayward, CA About 1X We build humanoid robots that work alongside people to solve labor shortages and create abundance. The Role As a CNC Machine Park Intern, you will support the daily operations of our CNC machine park, gaining hands-on exposure to real-world manufacturing processes. You'll work closely with experienced operators and programmers while developing foundational skills in machining, inspection, and shop organization. This role offers a clear path for technical growth and long-term opportunities in robotics-focused manufacturing. You Will - Support daily operations including machine setup, part loading, cleaning, and basic tool handling - Observe and assist with CNC machining, inspection, and routine maintenance tasks - Learn to read part drawings and interpret basic G-code - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment - Take on progressively more technical responsibilities as experience grows Must Have - Strong interest in manufacturing and a desire to learn CNC operations from the ground up - Comfortable working with machines, tools, and in a hands-on environment - Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing consistently - Eagerness to grow into a full-time technical role in a robotics-focused manufacturing setting Benefits & Compensation - Salary Range: $25 per hour - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer 1X is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
